Taisetsu Na: Chapter 1

I transfer in this school to forget my past in my previous school.

"Yanagi Tsuji, please to meet you." I introduced myself with a smile.
They staring at me and one of my classmate ask.
"Tsuji, why you are wearing eyepatch?" she asked.
I can't response in what she asked.
"It's ok not to answer it." she added.
Our homeroom teacher gave me a seat beside the girl who asked me.
My new life is going to start in this new school I'm attending. I'm starting spacing out looking outside the window during class.

When the lunch break came.
The girl who ask me lately came to approached me.
"Tsuji, want to eat lunch together?"
"No it's fine.." I replied.
"I see.. By the way I'm Nakahara Chimizu, nice too meet you."
She introduced herself to me with a big smile.
"Well then, I'll go eat lunch now.." she added and wave at me.
I'm a little bit happy that time because someone approached me with a big smile.
When in my previous school, I'm not getting along with my classmates because of the eyepatch I'm wearing.

There's a reason behind this.
When I was 10 my parents fight in front of me because my father was fired in his work and mom scolded him until it reached to fight.
I can't take it. I'm tired of watching them fighting everyday.
When the last fight I saw them I tried to stop them yet my mom can't stop herself until she grab a knife and I'm the one who's that injured.
They brought me in the hospital. When I woke up, I can't open my right eye. The doctor says that my right eye is already blind.
After hearing it I saw mom talking to the doctor and she went at me.
I thought she'll be kind at me but she just scolded me.
I can't take it.
After 6 years I run away home.
I searched for a small apartment and find a part time job at evening and continue my school at morning.

A weeks came after the incident. I heard a rumor in the campus.
It was a big rumor about me and the upper class always put a fight with me yet I didn't fight back often.
I thought to myself that they start hating me because of my right eye.
The rumor says, I'm cursed because of my right eye.
I can't take those words from them and I decided to transfer school.
I think it too much if I transfer I can't change my past.

Lunch break is done.
I didn't eat lunch and didn't leave my place.
Some of my classmates back in the room.
Chimizu noticed me and came to ask me.
"Have you eaten your lunch?" she asked.
I just shaked my head. Her face looks like she's kind of worried and she ask me again.
"Why?"
"Nothing, I don't have an appetite today." I replied to her with a bit smile.
"But at least you have to eat.." she replied with a worried face and take a sit.
She look at me and said.
"You looks like a quiet type person.."
"No. I'm not."
"Oh really?" her replied and smirk at me.

Suddenly our next teacher came and she stop talking at me.

When the classes done. I'm immediately leave the classroom.
She saw me again and called me.
"Are you leaving now?" she asked"
"Yeah." I replied.
"Then take care in your way home." she wave at me and turn around.

My way is in my part time job. When I reached it my boss talk to me.
"Tsuji, sorry but this is your salary. Your work is until here. "
"Eh?"
I was shocked when I heard it.
I ask my boss why, but he never said a word at me. And I leave.
"I lost my job and I need to find another one." thought to himself.

I walked. I'm thinking too much and suddenly I saw Chimizu.
She noticed me too. She look at me and wave her hand.
"I thought you went back home.." she said.
"I'm just in my way home." I replied.
She look at me with a smile and I think she noticed at me something.
"Is there something in my face?" I asked.
"Nothing. You just look pale.." she replied.
"I see.. By the way, where are you heading now?" I asked her with a smile.
"Look you smiled.. I'm heading now in my part time job." she replied with a smile in her face.
"I see.."

And suddenly I remember that I'm already fired in my work without reason..
She still looking at me and she ask me again.
"Are you fine? Really you look pale.." she ask with a worried in her face.
"If there's something bothering you, just tell me maybe I can help you.." she added.
"Actually. I just went by in my part time job but my boss told me that I'm fired already."
"What's the reason?" she asked with a worried face again in her face.
"I don't know.. My boss didn't response at me when I asked him." I replied to her with a lonely face.

She stop asking Tsuji for a minute.
And she look again in Tsuji's face and smile.
"Want to go with me?" she asked him.
"Where?" he asked.
"Secret.. Just come along with me and you will know if we reach the destination already." she said to me and smile.

Tsuji followed Chimizu. They walk and a few minutes they reached there destination.
"A family restaurant?" I asked.
"Yep. Come. " she replied and grab my hand.
We went inside the restaurant.
She's talking to the staffs and I thought that she's working here.
She look at me and wave her hands.
I went in where she is.

"Tsuji, my co-workers. "
She introduced me in her co-workers.
One of her co-workers look at me.
"What a nice guy.." looking at me with charm.
"Want to work here? Manager are hiring a new staffs, if you want you can work here" she added.

My lonely moments suddenly became a happy moments.
And I replied to them immdiately.

They said that I need to go back in that restaurant tomorrow after school. And I can start my work there.

Before Chimizu start working, I thanks her and she smile at me.
I leave the restaurant and went back home.
